I'm beginning to worry that I'm either stupid or going deaf. Nearly everything that people say to me at work has to be repeated, sometimes twice. Phone calls are a nightmare. People are saying words, but all I hear are sounds and I usually am completely lost as to what I'm supposed to have to do even though on paper my job is simple.
I think when I thought of myself as smart, I got it confused for neurotic.
